Excerpt from the Daily Prophet, written by Louisa Anne Shufflebottom and dated 25th of August, 2000
It’s been just over two years since that fateful battle at Hogwarts and the dust seems to finally be settling. As we all know Harry Potter and Ron Weasley are working with the aurors, rounding up the last of the death eaters that escaped after He Who Must Not Be Named’s death and Hermione Granger is a year into her job with the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures and already making waves. The wizarding world has moved on from it’s celebrations, and families still mourn the ones they have lost, but the war is over and it is a time for rebuilding and moving on. Over the past two years Muggleborns have been returning to Hogwarts in droves, and now it's doors are about to open to students that would have once been turned away or been too scared to cross into Hogwarts’ hallowed halls. Werewolves and vampires, armed with wands and teeth have been allowed into the school.
“It’s what Dumbledore would have wanted,” Headmistress McGonagall told the Prophet when we reached out for a comment.
“It’s what Remus would have wanted,” Savior of the wizarding world, Boy- now Man Who Lived, and Auror, Harry Potter tells me over lunch one sunny afternoon when I interview him on the matter. He is, of course, speaking of the now well known war hero and werewolf, Remus Lupin who died alongside his wife Nymphadora, and is survived by his only son Edward "Teddy" Lupin.
“It’s the right thing to do. It’s the only thing to do. Everyone, no matter their blood status deserves a fair and proper education,” Says well known muggleborn, best friend to Harry Potter, and war hero Hermione Granger, as she speaks in front of a group of reporters while exiting Gringotts last Friday afternoon.
As we all remember, a large majority of those afflicted with lycanthropy sided with the death eaters and the Dark Lord during the war, but it’s plain to see that those who fought for us all are still the heroes we all know and love, fighting for what they believe is the greater good even when it’d be understandable to cast aside what some people see as undesirables as our world has already done for so long.
Those devastated by Fenrir Greyback and his army of werewolves during the war will finally have a chance to finish their education at Hogwarts this fall, as will those afflicted by vampirism and lycanthropy by other means. Truly, a new age is dawning in the wizarding world. Whether it will be without it’s bumps remains to be seen by this reporter, as sources have already informed me that there are those in our world that aren’t happy about these changes.

Colovaria is a Post War Harry Potter Roleplay, focused on Hogwarts just two years after the fall of Voldemort. Hogwarts has opened it’s doors to the werewolves turned by Greyback and his pack during the war, as well as any other vampires and werewolves who simply desire a formal education. Not all are happy about this decision and tensions are mounting between those who support the decisions of Professor McGonagall and the new leadership in the wizarding world and those who just want things to go back to the way they used to be.
We are a casual roleplay with no word count, and we’d love for you to come join us!
